Five chapters of regular polygons expressed as colorful amorphous glitch fields.
"Shape Fields are polygonal planes of patterned noises, seas of simple shapes that explore formless spaces of common forms. The digital images are generated on an iPad by over processing photographs of radiating polygon pencil hand drawings. Hard geometries become soft currents as regular shapes are deconstructed into flowing fields of colorful swirling static, conjuring conceptual space between the concrete and abstract where form is mostly felt and unseen. 'Shape Fields' questions the use of outlines to define shape."
